Mint Tallow Dog Biscuits

Make your dog these easy and healthy gourmet dog biscuits using all-natural ingredients with no added preservatives!

 Servings: 22 biscuits when using 1 1/2" wide cookie cutter

Ingredients

1 tbsp tallow (beef fat)
1 cup water

1/2 cup oatmeal

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tbsp dried mint

6 drops peppermint oil (optional)

Tools

1 tablespoon measuring spoon

1/2 cup measure

1 cup measure

Bowl

Large Spoon

Spatula

Food Processor

Rolling Pin

Cookie Cutter

Parchment Paper

Baking Sheet

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Combine all ingredients in food processor equipped with kneading blades.
  • Mix on knead setting until dough is combined. It will be clumpy and not one solid ball. 
  • Remove dough from processor and roll into a ball.
  • Using your rolling pin, roll the dough out until it's 1/4" thick.
  • Cut dough using cookie cutter and place biscuits onto parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 35 minutes.
  • Allow to cool and store in an airtight container.


Suggested serving is one biscuit per day per dog.
